The IsaiX Coach Technology® solution has been of great benefit to my organization. The launch of the tool coincided with the rollout of the organization’s new competency model and helped support Sales Managers as they applied these competencies during field-visits with their representatives. The technology not only supported the consistent application of the competency model but also helped improve the “work-life balance” and reduce the administrative burden placed on our Managers by permitting the fast and easy follow up of Action Plans that were derived from field-coaching visits.

 

Prior to the launch of the IsaiX Coach Technology® when Managers had to complete their mid-year and year-end performance evaluations for their representatives they would have to dig through stacks of coaching reports and determine the current level of competency for each representative for each technical and behavioural skill. Since instituting the technology, Managers now have easy access to all prior coaching sessions and can view a mid-year/year-end report where all pertinent evaluations are integrated and scoring for all competencies are auto-populated and simply require their approval prior to submission to HR for calibration exercises. Moreover, the tool helps provide insights into development opportunities by representative, region or company-wide so that training programs can be re-aligned or new ones created without having to conduct time-intensive and costly organizational surveys.

The IsaiX Coach Technology® solution has been a great support for our Sales Manager’s coaching efforts. The launch of the tool coincided with the rollout of our organization’s new competency model for Sales, and Coach Technology® allowed for the practical integration of these competencies in a manager’s everyday coaching dialogue. The marriage of a competency model and Coach Technology® has translated into several benefits for the Sales Managers: They are able to plan, record and revisit coaching discussions in one system, which allows for improved coaching continuity; they are able to jointly define and track development plans, ensuring the appropriate follow-up on commitments; and the administrative burden formerly associated with competency assessments has been greatly reduced, as the competency ratings given during regular field-coaching visits culminate into an overall assessment. We plan to continue to leverage the information captured with Coach Technology® to assist in the identification of training needs and the planning of coaching effort.
